Ik kan het eigenlijk niet uitleggen maar deze foto’s hebben iets!

“Developed during the mid-to-late–19th century, the technique involves coating a thin sheet of metal, or plate, with a syrupy substance called collodion, photo-sensitizing the collodion with silver nitrate, and exposing the plate to light.”

Photographic Processes Series

Nu drukken we op een knopje en nog geen seconde later zie je de foto. Nog een paar seconden later kun je dan kiezen of je van die foto een zwart/wit- of een kleurversie wilt.

Het is ooit anders geweest. Zo kun je dankzij de filmpjes van George Eastman House eens nagaan hoe het er vroeger aan toeging. Er wordt ook op een knopje gedrukt maar daar stopt dan ook de gelijkenis.
