Hopelijk krijgt deze actie veel navolging; ze zou veel jonge mensen een dienst bewijzen …

Tegenwoordig is er Photoshop en kan er van alles toegevoegd en/of weggelaten worden in een foto. Maar driekwart eeuw terug kenden ze er ook al iets van.

… en dus werd het juweel weggeshopt. Tot iemand opmerkte dat de reflectie van het uurwerk in het glanzend tafelblad, niet weggewerkt werd. Met de nodige ekskuses voor het bedrog en nog meer blabla werd de originele foto dan maar terug op de website geplaatst.

‘House Bill 2793, proposed by Rep. Katie Hobbs, D-Phoenix, would require advertisers who alter or enhance a photo to put a disclaimer on that ad alerting customers that “Postproduction techniques were made to alter the appearance in this advertisement. When using this product, similar results may not be achieved.”‘

Voor de zoveelste keer heeft een fotograaf het nodig gevonden om een foto te manipuleren. Op zich niets mis mee tenzij dat niet geduld wordt door de mensen waarvoor je werkt. Resultaat van tien minuten Photoshop: job kwijt.
